About Jan

Jan Meeuwissen is aka Giovanni. Born and raised in a small town outside of Arnhem, Jan strived to get to the illustrious Dutch capital, Amsterdam. While studying, Jan’s passion for music and nightlife quickly developed from just a hobby to becoming a popular event planner. During this time there were several occasions Jan managed including corporate parties, fashion shows and up-and-coming dance events.

His reputation for planning and executing various social events with professionalism and ease flourished and Jan was given the opportunity to showcase his expertise for the MOBO Awards in London. Throughout this time, Jan continued to pursue his Master’s degree at the University of Utrecht, focusing on management, pop music and art.

In 2004 he successfully founded aka Giovanni. With an ever expanding network and love for this industry, Jan’s dream has been realized in aka Giovanni.
